I Left My &hearts In San Francisco

Yesterday I went into 'the city' (as we call in here, and people will know what you mean) to see Jesus Christ Superstar. But first, we had a tiny bit of time to go shopping! So we headed straight for the San Francisco Centre, and split up, my mom and me and my brother and my dad. While the boys went off to the Champs Sports, my mom and I headed to the new-ish Juicy Couture store, which I hadn't been it yet. It was so great! I didn't get anything there, but just being there was fabulous. Then we went to where we really wanted to go, the Bloomingdale's. If I had to shop in one store for the rest of my life, Bloomingdale's would be it. There is half a floor (and it's a really big floor!) that is just JEANS. hEaVeN . I went in with the intention of getting Rock and Republic's but I tried on some 26-es (whcih are my size) and they were too tight, and there werent any 27-es. :( But I did find the most fabulous Chip and Pepper's in 26 that DID fit. (Which boosted my self esteem too).

How can you resist a pair of jeans with the tagline 'You've got a sexy bum' ? It always reminds me of my English aunt, who talks with the greatest english accent.
As much as I love these jeans (I would wear them immediatly, but they still have to be hemmed, like all the jeans I buy...) there was another pair of pants that caught my eye and I have been dreaming of them since.

Paired with layered tops and a Seven For All Mankind denim jacket, were these Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans. But not these exactly. The ones I saw had one side of a zipper trail on the side seams. They were SO cute. I can remember now, while I dug through the Rock and Republic's, turning and seeing these jeans and rubbing the zipper with my finger. As soon as I woke up this morning, I looked for them on the Bloomingdale's website, but couldnt find them :(. I guess I'll check my local Nordstrom. (To add to my misery, I think they were on sale!)

I love cities.

(By the way, how do you like the new layout? I finally made it read-able! Yay. I love it, plus I am so proud of myself for knowing the littlest bit of HTML to be able to make it look like this. The header picture I took yesterday in the city, it was on the Nordstrom window. My new mantra, and the way I'm gonna live my life from now on)

k, back to you about your last comment... i would really like to change my header to my own title that I made (it's in a picture file) so I need to know where in my template to post the URL for it. also, how do you change the background?

great post! It makes me feel all city-ish.

The MJ jeans are so gorgeous (the one in the picture) but the real ones sound equally lovely.

The layout is great.
